WUFPAC Endorses Martha Roby (AL-02)
Martha Roby, a wife, mother, and current member of the Montgomery City Council, is knocking on doors and meeting constituents in an effort to earn the opportunity to represent Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Martha is focused on the most pressing issues of the day: job creation, lower taxes, and education. She also provides young women in her community with a strong role model through her work with the Britton YMCA.
“The 2010 election cycle is looking great for Martha and all of our Women Under Forty candidates. Martha is a prime example of the importance of building the political pipeline. Having served on the Montgomery City Council since 2003, she has worked hard to represent the Montgomery community and will continue to do so when she is a Member of Congress, ” stated Katie Vlietstra, WUFPAC President. “There are amazing women running for Congress across the country and we are so excited to support these candidates as they race to the finish line.”
